ParTEE FORE a PURPOSE
The 2025 United Way fundraiser was a smash hit this year once again. The crew at United Way in Beaumont know how to make everything fun, and they know how to bring folks together for helping others in Southeast Texas.
5 Under Golf Center is beyond blessed, delighted, and excited to host this ParTEE FORE a Purpose tournament with our friends of the United Way with title sponsor, ExxonMobil. This day had it all —food, the golf, the festivities — and moments that make a difference.

Fun FORE All!
This 4-man scramble golf tournament started with an easy check-in at 9 AM. Guests and golfers alike got to settle in with some practice swings, get some swag, and find their spots.
Organizers and volunteers made a TEEriffic decoration with balloons, signs, party favors and more in a superb theme of golf, green, and good times.
Our staff at 5 Under put together some exciting extras and cooked up some deliciousness for the tournament menu.
We tee’d off at 10 AM with teams upstairs and downstairs playing Pebble Beach on our Toptracer Range. 5 Under Golf staff went around to help facilitate and ensure a smooth, strong start for all guests and golfers.
In Bay 110, 5 Under set up a contest for Closest-to-the-Pin! Golfers throughout the duration of the tournament would come show their ticket to compete for a shot at a hole in one. The winner for the day won some sharp swag from 5 Under including a range finder, Titleist golf balls, and a 3-month membership to 5 Under!
Lunch for the golfers included a playful menu with some serious flavor:
The Bacon & Jam Bogey Burger, Famous Fish ‘n Chip Shots, Hole-in-One Harvest Salad, and Golf Club Sandwich. Along with mimosas, beer buckets, and a signature cocktail, our guests were smiling and shining all day.
ExxonMobil executives made a wonderful presentation mid tournament and recognized some people, accomplishments, volunteers, and a shared vision for the future.
Other sponsors including NatGasoline, Entergy, CommonCents Credit Union, Scallon, Germer, Del Papa, HEB, Lamar University, Stellar Bank, and others put on a show with great golf, mixing, mingling, and overall merriment.
5 Under Golf Center thanks United Way – Beaumont and North Jefferson County’s President/CEO, Karyn Husbands, along with Holli Petersen, Marketing Manager, for working with us for such a monumental event.
With the friendly, hardworking teams, volunteers, sponsors, and participants, we knew this would be a good time for all. We look forward to seeing more great things throughout the year from United Way in Southeast Texas. And we invite YOU to contact Karyn for making a donation of time, talent, or treasure soon. You won’t regret it!
