April is a big month for us at 5 Under as we make some upgrades to our nets and outdoor range, and we’re excited to share the plans, progress, and what’s ahead…
Our outdoor driving range is temporarily closed for some new nets, repairs, replacements, and upgrades. The project kicked off the first week of the month and the plan is for incremental additions that will ultimately lead to some new outdoor patio furniture and some other surprises as well.
The indoor venue is still fully functional so we invite our guests to play indoors—golf with our Top Golf Swing Suites, game play, restaurant, bar, shopping, parties, events, meeting rooms, and more. Just because the outdoor nets are coming down and construction crews are hard at work, we are still running as usual inside. Plus—we just launched our new menu, new brunch menu, and new cocktail menu for the revamped restaurant.
“The changes outdoors do not affect our indoor golf, games, restaurant, or retail shop…that’s business as usual,” says John Miller, VP of Operations. “We are still hosting fitting days (also known as “demo days”) with Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Srixon, Cleveland, and other top brands as normal where the brand pros come and consult with guests to custom fit each player into the best equipment for their games. We’re just doing it indoors for a few weeks until this is complete.”
5 Under has been planning this for months, and April just worked out to be the most efficient month for all the factors at play. The work involves replacing the nets, painting the poles, and making some upgrades outside that will make 5 Under bright, shiny, and exciting for years to come.
“It’s another example of how 5 Under continually invests in the guest experience, re-invests in the business, and wants to be something special for the community,” Miller adds. “Some of the netting will even help our golfers with more overhead space for lofts and wedge shots, and the patio’s beautification will help make for an inviting environment out there.”
