- The Tournament: The NEW golf tournament at 5 Under Golf Center was a joy to host! The prestigious NRF team and supporters played St. Andrew’s Course on our Toptracer Range, enjoyed fresh, delicious food and drinks, and mixed with friends on the patio for a modern, competivite-yet-casual tournament
- Prizes and Surprises: The tournament prizes included best scores, best team names, closest-to-the pin, longest drive, and more. Fun FORE All!
The Neches River Festival team is a creative, energetic, and spirited group. They know how to throw a party and get folks involved! The chairmen, committee chairs, and volunteers are famous for their exciting events, brilliantly-themed aesthetics, and warm-hearted fellowship.
This was all on full display at the tournament and it was great to see here at 5 Under. Mellie Bevilacqua, Justin Huff, Emily Wheeler, Zach Stiles, Molly Moore, and more NRF friends led a fantastic Friday!
The tournament on 5 Under Golf Center’s outdoor Toptracer Range was a TEErrific setting for golf, fun, games, and fundraising.
Planning golf tournaments are always a big task, especially with weather forecasting. 5 Under’s covered patio and range proved extra effective! As the clouds rolled in and the rain began to fall, our golfers were able to play through comfortably! No delays or cancellations, the tournament continued — rain and shine! Fortunately, the sun soon came out and the rest of the tournament continued just as it began. Another win!
The Neches River Festival team set up awesome decorations and displayed all sponsors beautifully.
With marvelous swag bags, drinks, and food from 5 Under’s award-winning restaurant, event guests and golfers alike enjoyed a full, fun day. Our staff kept score and managed the contests for longest drive and closest-to-the-pin, while NRF’s team handled prizes, people, and fun.
BIG THANKS to our friends of the Neches River Festival for partnering with 5 Under Golf to host such a special golf tournament. It’s always an honor and thrill to have NRF friends with us to eat, drink, and play. What a wonderful way to kick off golf season for 5 Under and event season for NRF.
