2023 Men Wear Pink ambassadors launch their campaigns at 5 Under Golf Center
Campaign Ambassadors throughout Southeast Texas are stepping up and using the power of wearing pink to raise a minimum of $2,500 each, and draw attention to the breast cancer fight.
In fact, every dollar raised during the month of October helps the American Cancer Society save more lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, breakthrough breast cancer discovery and research, and lifesaving patient support.
On Thursday, September 28, local ambassadors launched their campaigns at 5 Under Golf Center with food, golf, and live music from musician and local ambassador Jamie Talbert. Pepsi was a proud sponsor of the campaign kick-off, an annual event here at 5 Under that grows more successful each year.
Chairs Terri and Lee Potter, owners of American Air Systems, honored Beaumont dancer Sherry Paschal who shared her story about her own battle with cancer and offered advice and encouragement to the hundreds of community members in attendance showing their support in the fight against breast cancer.
